Multidiciplinary artist currently based in Sheffield, UK.
Statement:
My practice focuses on a multidisciplinary exploration of process-oriented experimental techniques. I often use broken and discarded materials, frequently navigating the space between analog and digital technology. The combination of different mediums is essential to my work, as it allows me to subvert narratives and examine the potential for their coexistence. I frequently work with sound, collage, assemblage, photography, video, installation, and sculpture. My fundamental influences span experimental film, Dada, avant-garde, Minimalism, Brutalism, Abstract Expressionism, and early electronic music, among many others.
My work is firmly rooted in the discourse of the conventional and the unconventional.
