Taking the form of an audiovisual installation, 'Help Needed to Redo Time (to Morning)' is a navigation of memory loss in the human brain. Found, spoken-word audio cassette recordings made by my Grandmother, who was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, are looped and amplified through transducers bolted to a piano soundboard, the clarity diminishing as they resonate through cracks in the wood. Amongst the work is an isolated photograph from a family photo album and a moving image playing back on a monitor,  evoking a poignant connection between technological breakdown and the fragility of memory. This work was presented in the Sheffield Hallam University BA Fine Art degree show, with the title of the piece directly referencing a note written by my Grandmother whilst living with Alzheimer's disease.
