‘Building Fronts of Portugal’ is an ongoing photographic project depicting building facades across Portugal. The facades themselves vary, some tiled, some conventional, others under construction or even derelict. Compositionally, the images traverse a meeting place between shape, colour, and form, and at times are reminiscent of assemblages or minimalist paintings, standing as a document of the changing landscape over time and the charm of the everyday. Each image is titled by the building's number or is otherwise untitled.
